ka-lyn: So...this is my story- my story of falling into the grips and clutches of anorexia. My story of all that led to my weakness and susceptibility to an eating disorder, my story of brokenness and pain and struggling....If I am being completely honest and upfront, I am still strongly in the midst of this story. It is not over and has not, for all intents and purposes, turned a corner towards recovery.....yet.... But I am trying and so....hopefully....this blog will also chronicle my steps towards and arrival at healthy balance and healing.... The story is yet unfinished.... But I invite you, my reader, to travel alongside me and experience with me the twists and turns and pain and difficulty in navigating an eating disorder....and maybe we can both come out the other side- happier, healthier and able to fully live our lives without being tied down to food obsessions, exercise addiction, or slavery to an inner critic who never lets up.
